Victims & Victimology - Domestic Violence

This course will define the terms related to victims and victimology. Students will learn to recognize types of victims and issues specific to type. Content will include bias toward victims, victim-blaming, and issues between victims and the criminal justice system; it will also cover the process of restorative justice. Students will learn to utilize a variety of interventions appropriate to victim type.

- Evaluate and support your clients to analyze which formats might fit their desires, boundaries, and temperaments,
- Analyze and interpret what has a choice to design a non-monamous lifestyle be an expression of a compulsion, a trauma or an authentic expression of sexual vibrancy,
- Name the most common or popular types of non-monogamies,
- Prepare to work with some of the most common mistakes those new to non monogamous lifestyles make.
